An Operating Room crew that works together day in and day out usually form a tight bond. This bonding can lead to many humorous moments inside and outside the OR suite.
For example:
Taking exam table paper, you know that long sheet of white paper used to cover exam room tables, and wrapping one of your surgeons car in it. What a hoot!!!
For the coffee drinkers, this move requires stealth and planning. Whenever they left their coffee cup sitting around filled with coffee, get a little bit of lidocaine jelly and rub it around the edge of the cup. When they come back and take a few sips of the ole joe, after a few moments, they notice their lower lip starting to go numb! Hoot number two!!
At the end of the day, one guy go to his locker, changes out of this scrubs, puts his street clothes on then put a huge pinch of Skoal between his cheek and gum. Someone, not really sure who but they will remain anonymous, put a few drops of alcohol in his Skoal can. When he stuck that stuff in his mouth…PHEWWWWWW..out it came!! Hoot number three!!

Here is a prank we pulled not to long ago on one of our fun loving orthopedic surgeons. We blew up a bunch of balloons, unlocked his car and put the balloons in! It was wall to wall balloons inside his car.
